TO TREAT THE SKIN!

Children with albinism often face unique emotional and psychological challenges due to societal misconceptions and stigma. At WAF, we believe that every child deserves to feel valued, confident, and celebrated. That’s why we created Smile Bright, a social program designed to uplift the spirits of children with albinism and boost their self-esteem.

Smile Bright

Smile bright is a social program of the Foundation that focuses on the psychological and mental state of a child with albinism to help boost their self esteem. We organize funfares, suprise visits, wardrobe change and suprise trips for families to create an empowering atmosphere for children with albinism, their families and friends to Smile Bright.

Key To Learn

At WAF, we strongly believe education is the key to unlocking opportunities and also in creating a brighter future. Unfortunately, many children with albinism face barriers to accessing quality education due to discrimination, financial challenges, and also lack of proper support. Our Educational Program is designed to bridge this gap and ensure every child with albinism has the opportunity to thrive academically.

Gift of Sight

At White Angels Foundation, we understand the unique visual challenges faced by children with albinism. Reduced melanin in their eyes can lead to conditions like photophobia, nystagmus, and low vision, making eye care an essential part of their overall well-being. In partnership with several reputable vision aid initiatives, we are proud to provide free eye examinations and vision aids tailored to their needs.

Let's Gist

At WAF, we believe that knowledge is power—the power to eliminate stigma, foster understanding, and create a supportive society for children with albinism. Our goal is to ensure that families, educators, and communities are well-informed about albinism and the unique experiences of those living with it. Over the years we have been on air and newspapers spreading awareness on albinism. Media houses like Wazobia FM Onitsha, Trend FM, Delta Broadcasting Services [DBS TV] The Nation Newspaper etc
